Welcome to NSA's Wind Band Conservatory
The Wind Band Conservatory strives to be a family of budding musicians which aim to create life-long bonds while pursuing the highest levels of instrumental and musical artistry. Throughout their four years of study and development, students can experience a wide arrange of ensembles and genres contributing to a well-rounded music education. Our educational journey traverses together where students are valued, challenged, supported, and celebrated.
Centered around artistic development, students have opportunities to continually broaden their horizons through our private lessons program, music theory, music history, and genre specific ensembles. We currently offer Wind Ensemble, Chamber Ensembles, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and perform the music in musicals produced at NSA.
Members of the Wind Band Conservatory participate in partnerships with the Nashville Symphony, Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, and other institutions throughout the area. They participate in master classes throughout the region and represent NSA through region, state, and national placement. The ensembles consistently receive superior ratings in Concert Performance Assessment at both regional and state level events.
