Welcome to NSA's Guitar Conservatory Page!

The NSA Guitar Conservatory offers students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to study classical, blues, rock and jazz guitar in small-group setting that focus on refining performance techniques as well as perfecting methods necessary to be successful as a studio musician. The conservatory is directed by Ryan Murphey who is a Grammy nominee and long-time veteran of Music Row and live performance in the country, rock and bluegrass field. Students that are singer-songwriters or aspiring producers or engineers are highly encouraged to take songwriting for two years as well as try out for Stage Band, the production class for our state of the art in-house Pro Tools studio that focuses on producing original material by NSA songwriter-artists. Mr. Murphey also directs the NSA Jazz Combo that performs live throughout the year at various high-profile banquets and gatherings.
