Family Involvement & Support

Get Involved

Friends of Nashville School of the Arts (FNSA) is the parent service organization for our school.

The non-profit raises and provides funds to cover additional expenses and manpower to support the faculty and school.

There are upcoming school events, conservatory and teacher requests, and community outreach needs where your time and skills are very much needed.

FNSA Meetings

The Parent Informational Meetings provide parents and families with school updates and happenings. Sign up for the newsletter and follow FNSA on Facebook for meeting dates.

Volunteers at NSA

All NSA performing arts conservatories have concerts, recitals, readings and performances throughout the year and each event needs support. Each of our conservatory leads are more than happy to receive help from parents in making preparations for these events. Contact information for each of our professionals can be found on the Teachers and Staff page.

Opportunities to Volunteer

If you have an hour or two a week, NSA needs volunteers to:

  • make copies for staff, freeing teachers up to spend more time on lesson planning.
  • monitor the entrances to the building to welcome and say goodbye to our students each day.
  • help run the school supply store during lunch time.

All parents volunteering during the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. must check in and out with the front office.

Questions?

If you have any questions about volunteering for the school in general, please contact Jeremy Lee in the front office or 615-299-6600.
